Mini Cider Donuts !

One of the best things about this time of year + growing up in Kansas is going to Louisburg Cider Mill ! They have an apple orchard where you can go and pick your own apples, see them being harvested, and watch fresh apple cider donuts being made. But of course the best part is eating the donuts and sipping on yummy, fresh squeezed apple cider! They also have a pumpkin patch and hay maze this time of year which is always fun — no matter what age ;) If you’re in the KC area and haven’t been this year there’s still time! It’s totally worth the drive south of town to Louisburg, KS. Fall just isn’t complete without it!

Birthday Dinner : for my Nico

I had to go big this year for Nico’s birthday and since last year I made him a serious cake I decided to go the savory route and make him a dinner feast! Puppy Prints

It’s Nico’s birthdayyy!! My little furry brown man is three years old this week <3 and I can’t believe it’s been that long (but at the same time has it really only been three years?!) since I swooped up this silly fluff ball and named him Nico Terranova – most spoiled, annoying, precious, stinky, and incredibly irreplaceable joy in my life. So in honor of his birthday I made him step in ink and walk all over paper for me! Because I’m a proud doggy-mom and Travis and I needed more art to hang up in our new(ish) apartment ;)
